About The Founder

My name is Garrett Kopp. I am the sole founder and owner of Birch Boys Chaga LLC.  I am a 19-year-old sophomore at Clarkson University studying innovation and Entrepreneurship.

I grew up in Tupper Lake, a small community in the heart of Northern New York’s Adirondack Mountains. In Tupper Lake, day-to-day life is very intertwined with the outdoors.  Historically, our economy was built on logging. In fact, our high school mascot is the Lumberjacks. Our community is packed with loggers, foresters, and everyday outdoorsmen, and all forms of outdoor recreation are embraced.

I first attempted lifestyle Entrepreneurship through a YouTube channel about my outdoor adventures at age 13. Here I would post videos about my life as a survivalist, hunter, fisherman, and forager. I have videos about wild edible plants, making fire by rubbing sticks together, building shelters, and overnight wilderness adventures.

I have become New York State's first Department of Agriculture and Markets certified mushroom identification expert.

Last autumn, my University allowed me to take a semester off to intern for my own company. I am extremely grateful to my university, my community, and my country for providing me with the opportunities I have been able to utilize to advance my passion. At the end of the day, my dream is to leave a footprint on the health food industry. And I would be honored to have your help.
