Chaga chunks can be simmered in a traditional saucepan on low heat for 2-3 hours. Use 1 chaga chunk to at least 1 gallon of water. After brewing, collect used Chaga chunk in sandwich bag & immediately freeze for future re-use.
OR, place 1 golf-ball sized Chaga chunk in a slow cooker with water. Steep until water turns black. Once rich & dark, Chaga tea is ready for consumption. Darkness of Chaga tea directly correlates to its antioxdant potency. The chaga chunk can continue to remain in the crock-pot for several days, if desired. Just add a cup of fresh water for every cup of tea consumed in order to keep your vessel filled with ready-to-serve Chaga tea.
