Why Alcohol?
Alcohol is one of the most important ingredients for a liquid mushroom extract. This is because certain valuable compounds like triterpenes aren’t soluble in water but are more readily soluble in alcohol. Any mushroom extract that doesn’t include alcohol is simply not as potent as liquid extracts that do use alcohol. We use alcohol at Birch Boys because we believe it’s the best natural way to extract mushrooms to maximize their health benefits.

How To Use Mushroom Tinctures
Birch Boys functional mushroom tinctures are full-strength extracts meant for daily use. The typical mushroom tincture dosage is 1–4 mL per day—about 1 to 4 squeezes of the dropper. You can take liquid mushrooms mixed into coffee, tea, water, smoothies, or directly under the tongue.
