I mixed the decaf in with the reg. mushroom coffee. It tastes the same to me. I have been trying to just drink your mushroom coffee and I love it.

Damn good coffee

I had promised to try the coffee if they endeavored to make it, so when it became available, I grabbed a bag. And in the time between them talking about the coffee and producing it, I had gone from regular coffee to decaffeinated, so my hopes were not high!
Surprise! I was expecting bitter and "earthy" and I got bold, smooth and satisfying. A damn good cup of coffee and that's the decaf!
I'm on my second bag and I bought my husband the regular (which I will sneak from time to time).

Excellent to have a meticulous mushroom coffee that taste smooth and not like instant like many other brands do. It says dark roast. I generally buy Kirkland Colombian Medium Roast (no mushroom). And I find this Birch Boys for me tastes like a Starbucks “Blonde” which I would personally never order. Didn’t give less stars than the 4 since I’m pleased to have an exceptional mushroom coffee. Too expensive I find at regular price and even if discount compared to other options out there. So it was a treat to buy as an experiment. My parents tried it with me and my dad would give it a 5 Stars and my mom would give it a 4. I said to them I’d give a 3 but hadn’t since I appreciate the work that goes into the mushroom production.
