Although the coffee was very fresh, I prefer a bold dark roast coffee, like Sumatran or Italian Roast. I am very partial to African and Asian coffees and dislike Columbian and most S. American coffees. It’s only for that reason that i wasn’t a big fan of this particular roast. I don’t think the mushroom had any bearing on the flavor. If you like a medium to mild roast, this may be just perfect for someone.
